The challenge

In mid-2020, while New Zealand was in lockdown, the New Zealand Olympic Committee wanted to publish their 2019 Annual Report online to increase engagement in an interactive format, that allowed people to customise the report for them.

The solution

We designed a mobile responsive single-page experience that called out all the main highlights and stories from their annual report.

People could still choose to download a PDF of the full report if they choose to.

The results

By taking their annual report online, the NZ Olympic Committee were able to maximise their story and reach, with a digital experience that is easily shared across multiple channels.

NZOC can now measure engagement and reach, something they were never able to effectively do previously with a purely print report.

Sustainability is seen as a competitive advantage and organisations around the world are working hard to shrink their carbon footprint, use more renewable energy sources and find more efficient, greener ways of doing business. By going paperless and reducing printing costs, NZOC is taking another step towards a more clean and green operating model.
